LENKA DOBRANSKA

I'm a passionate visual storyteller. If I get the chance, I love getting under the skin of characters, their worlds and moods in production designs, concept art and storyboards.

In my free time I'm a designer/maker. I tend to work with wood. Usually when there's a furniture piece I need, I design and build it in a way that allows the furniture to be physically rearranged to preform different functions, like a puzzle. When working on films I keep this skill alive when designing or building sets and props.

On smaller productions I work as a production designer or art director, on larger productions I work as an art director's assistant, draughtsman, stand by director's assistant, or set dec assistant.

My other passions are Music and Dance, especially contemporary dance. I can't keep still so I'm also addicted to hiking and running and out of curiosity I love taking on new adventures and challenges. I love to keep learning, experimenting and discovering new things.
